Transition Litchfield will show the film, “Dirt! The Movie” at 7PM on Wednesday, March 14th, at the Litchfield Community Center,421 Bantam Road, Litchfield.
Dirt! The Movie is an astonishing, humorous and substantial look at the glorious and unappreciated ground beneath our feet. Dirt and humans couldn’t be closer. We are made of the same stuff. Four billion years of evolution created dirt as the living source of all life on Earth including humans. Through animation, vignettes, personal accounts and storytelling, Dirt! The Movie reveals how repairing our relationship with dirt can create new possibilities for all life on earth. (Running time 1 hour 10 minutes.)
